The Mists of Avalon is also a really great book…

I liked The Bell Jar–thanks for the recommendation, Katie! 😀

Nice list so far. I’m blanking out right now but will be sure to let you know if I think of additions. The Bell Jar was actually the first book I thought of before I checked what you already had on your list.

    The Adventure Divas.

Great list! I enjoyed Tales of a Female Nomad. It was very inspiring at the time I had read it. So much so that I wrote the author and she actually wrote back to me. I got a little shell shocked and didn’t respond. 🙂
